Rental Terms and agreement.

Rates

Rental Rates are set by the most current version of the rental rate sheet in effect at the time of signing.

Payments 

TL;DR - Please pay promptly after your shoot.

All rental fees must be paid no later than 24 hours after your completed shoot date. If the booking invoice is not paid on time a 10% late fee may be assessed.

Length of Use

TL;DR - Your access to the studio starts and ends at your booking period, which includes set-up, tear down, and cleaning. Book appropriately. 

Rental periods are chosen at the time of booking. Your time begins promptly at the listed start time chosen at booking and ends promptly at end of the time chosen when booking. Rental time includes setup and tear down so please consider that while booking. Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period. No prior drop-off and/or pick-up after completion of shoot, of equipment, props, etc unless approved in advance by the studio manager. Any renter that goes 15 minutes past the original end time of their booking will be charged an additional prorated amount of the original booking cost for every 15 minutes over.

Cleaning and Trash

TL;DR - Please clean up after yourself. If you bring it with you; take it with you.

Please leave premises and all contents in the same condition as they were when you arrived. Studio management will dispose of trash collected in the supplied trash cans; however Renter must remove any larger items, props, wardrobe, and equipment brought in by them or collaborators from the studio premises. Disposal of large amounts of garbage due to large sets may also accrue additional cost. $100 cleaning fee may apply if the studio is not left in the condition it was in prior to the rental period. Please return any furniture to its original location and turn off all overhead lights.

Studio Guidelines

TL;DR - These you should read.

  1. No smoking whatsoever is allowed in the studio. Projects involved with smoke must have prior studio representatives consent. 

  2. Music is to be kept at reasonable levels.

  3. No one will be admitted who is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances

  4. No pets allowed without prior consent of the studio manager.

  5. All small and/or hard to clean material (confetti, hair cutting, feathers, food products, body paint, etc.) require approval from the studio manager. Glitter is not allowed inside the studio. Cleaning fee may apply if a mess is left behind.

  6. Studio parking can accommodate 2 vehicles and up to 4 vehicles outside of weekday hours.

Waiver of Liability

TL;DR - Legal mumbo jumbo. Please follow the rules and be safe. We are not responsible for you, your party, or your property.

Use of Landmark Creative Studio’s premises and equipment is at renter’s risk. Renter hereby agrees Landmark Creative Studio will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, injury or loss to renter, his party or possessions while on the premises. All persons and activity on premises may be video recorded for security usage.

Renter will not hold Landmark Creative Studio accountable for lost, stolen, or damaged property

Renter assumes risk and responsibility for any injury, death, or property damage resulting from renter’s actions or renter’s clients and their guests actions.

Renter will assume all risk and responsibilities for any persons or items brought into this property. 

Renter releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless Landmark Creative Studio, and its agents, from and against all and any actions or claims which may be made by me or on my behalf or by other parties for or in respect of or arising out of any injury, loss, damage, or death caused to me or my property whether by negligence, breach of contract or any way whatsoever.

Conduct

TL;DR - Be kind, have fun, and make good choices.

We at Landmark Creative Studio maintain a clean and professional environment. Renter shall be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying renter while on premises. Renter agrees that the studio management reserves the right to be on property at all times. If management observes or otherwise becomes aware of dangerous, pornographic, illegal, or negligent practices or activities, Landmark Creative Studio reserves the right to stop the shoot and may require renter and renter’s party to leave immediately. In such cases no refund will be given for unused time. However, Landmark Creative Studio assumes no responsibility to act in such cases.

Equipment

TL;DR - Enjoy the included equipment, but take care, and inquire if you are unsure of how to use anything.

Landmark Creative Studio agrees to provide equipment in good working order but makes no special guarantees as to suitability to the renter’s purposes. Renter shall notify the studio manager of any malfunction, damage, or other issues with the equipment.

Damage

TL;DR - If you break it; you buy it.

Renter shall be solely responsible for any damage to studio property or equipment that occurs during the time renter or his party occupies the premises. A $50 damage fee will be assessed for any and all spills, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture or makeup stations, broken items or furniture. Renter agrees to pay any additional repair or replacement costs to bring damaged equipment back to working condition.
